Ashram

It was founded in 1992 with the presence of Swami Dayananda Saraswati. Since then, it's been beautifully preserved by Swamini Prajnanananda Saraswati, and now it's open to the public.

The Temple

Inside the Ashram there is a totally traditional temple dedicated to Lord Dakshinamurti, prepared to visitation. There is also two Mandapams for Ganesha and Subramanya. The classroom has a special temple dedicated to Swami Dayananda Saraswati and the deities of his village.

Classroom

The classroom is large and easily accommodates around 40 people for yoga practice, or up to 200 people sitting for lectures or vedanta classes.
In this classroom, Swami Dayananda has delivered numerous courses, lectures and classes for his students and the local people of Mauritius.
